“ERC Membership ” Terms and Conditions
The next terms and conditions apply to the project “Emergency Rescue Club Card”.
Please note that the below mentioned terms and conditions are an integral part of the general terms and conditions of Emergency Rescue Club Card promoted by Mother India Care, and shall be read with it, and articles unspecified here bear the same meaning shown in the general terms and conditions.
With the exception of what is mentioned below, all terms and conditions that are not mentioned below stay unchanged.

General Rules
- The ERC Membership package is applicable to the covered member and “Covered Vehicle (Car)” for a period of one year (according to the membership card and cover plan chosen) from the date of activation.
- The ERC membership package is applicable only to all those Private or non-commercial vehicles(Cars) that are less than 10 years age.
- Members should paste the ERC sticker on the covered vehicle and produce the ERC card to avail the services.
- In the event of breakdown repair, member should use the helpline number to call on us and provide us the details of the breakdown repair.
- In case on-site repair is not feasible, ERC technician will arrange to tow the car to the nearest garage / service station.
- The estimate response time for arrival is 45 minutes within the city and 120 minutes for outskirts. ETA will increase in case of Force Majeure events.
- All consumables such as spare parts and lubricants are chargeable.
- In the event of car runs out of fuel, ERC will arrange up to 5 Liters of fuel on actual.
- In case of incorrect fuelling, ERC will either empty the tank or tow the car to the nearest sevice station.
- In case of a flat tyre, ERC will replace the tyre with the spare wheel. In case of new tyre replacement, ERC will get the tyre fixed from the nearest service station and extraneous charges will be borne by the member.
- If the Covered Vehicle does not start due to a discharged battery, ERC will jumpstart the vehicle.
- In case the vehicle’s keys are lost or damaged, ERC will get the keys from member’s residence after furnishing relevant identification documents. If the keys cannot be replaced, customer will have to arrange for another set of keys at his own costs and efforts. To avoid misuse, this service is highly restricted and is applicable within the city limits.
- In case of key lockout, the technician will make best efforts to get the key out of the vehicle using regular measures or he will break the glass with customer’s consent to get the keys
- Services can be refused on account of misrepresentation, malicious intent, abusive behaviour or refusal to adhere to T&C.
- Only Emergency Rescue Club card holders are eligible for the service.
- Vehicle cover membership can be purchased through online and the assistance can be provided through helpline number.
- Service is provided through Emergency Rescue Club.
- Member can subscribe up to any number of cars maximum regardless of the number of cards owned whether primary or supplementary.
- Service is renewed every year.
- Membership is activated within a week of subscription date.
- The competency and proficiency of the following services is the sole responsibility of Emergency Rescue Club.
- The ERC has the right to terminate client’s subscription in the service in case it has been misused or for any other reasons.
- Client pays all fees and fairs resulting from misgiving information leading to his/her subscription in an unsuitable package.
- Service is automatically terminated if client delays yearly payment to renew the membership.
- In case member wants to reactivate card, client needs to reapply for subscription.
- The company covers supplying vehicle with necessary electrical power to re-activate engine, the service does not include any maintenance or changing of battery. If battery changing is required then the charges shall be paid by the member.
- ERC holds the right at any time and with no notice to change terms and conditions and services, or to holding or terminating the program.
In case any conflict is to take place concerning these terms and conditions, the ERC decision becomes final and obligatory.
Service Types
Towing of Vehicle(Car)
In case of accident: in case of inability to move, vehicle is transported from the accident site to police department, then workshop or residence address of the member within maximum 50 kms at no cost and extra kms will be charged at actual.
In case of breakdown repair: our technician will carry most of the required spare parts along with him, and he will fix the vehicle at the breakdown spot.
Quick Battery jumpstart
The company covers supplying vehivle with necessary electrical power to re-activate engine, the service does not include any maintenance or changing of battery. If battery changing is required then the charges shall be paid by the member.
Service Exclusions
- If the car age is more than 10 years.
- If the car is run more than 1 lakh kms.
- The car is deemed to be running out of manufacturer guidelines.
- There is deliberate damage to the car due to vandalism.
- In case the immobilization results from destruction caused by intercession of police or other subsequent authorities.
- We don’t provide services in the states Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
Air Ambulace Cover
