The ERC Card is a yearly membership card that can be pre-loaded with roadside assistance services for vehicle cover, personal cover and travel cover and host of club rewards.

Which types of vehicles are eligible for the vehicle cover?
Your vehicle can only be considered to be covered under this breakdown repair cover policy if it is less than 15 years old at the start date; it has covered less than 150,000 miles at the start date; is a car or light commercial vehicle (LCV) weighing less than 3,500 kg Gross Vehicle Weight, it has been serviced within the 12 month period prior to the start date; and is taxed and insured in accordance with Indian law and maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition and serviced in line with the manufacturer’s recommendations during the period of insurance.
What is an ERC vehicle cover ?
The ERC vehicle cover is a Roadside Breakdown Assistance promoted by Mother India Care for the road users. In the event of any kind of sudden breakdown or repair in the car, assistance can be provided on wheels. Free Towing services can be provided with 50 Kms cover from your house under basic membership and PAN India cover for premium membership. Our services are included and packed with host of benefits from repair to tow and also to help you reach your destination.
What is an ERC personal cover ?
The ERC personal cover is an accident insurance cover for an individual member. In the event of any accident, road user can avail the cash less treatment, free ambulance on call.
What is an ERC critical emergency cover ?
The ERC critical emergency cover is an ambulance SOS Call out cover for an individual member. In the event of any critical emergency our member can avail 1 free air ambulance SOS call in a year.
What is towing cover ?
The ERC is having a network of towing service providers across India. The selected nearby tow service provider is chosen on the basis of your location, their availability and timely dispatch.
What if the car is driven by other family member, is he/she eligible for obtaining the assistance ?
Yes, if the vehicle is covered and the membership card is in possession of that person. A confirmation call for the authorization shall be made.
If the vehicle is under manufacturer warranty, then how does ERC team conduct the repair?
ERC team will not do any unauthorized repairs, and vehicle will be towed to the nearest service station in case of a major breakdown, roadside breakdown assistance does not affect vehicle warranty.
How many vehicles can be covered on the name of a single owner?
Each membership is for a particular vehicle(car). You can buy any number of memberships for different vehicles. but you cannot use coverage benefits for one vehicle on another.

In the event of roadside emergency, you can call our helpline and identify yourself for availing necessary assistance.
What is the distance coverage area of membership for a vehicle cover?
The distance can be covered as per your plan and option, you can avail coverage up to a radius of 50 km from your house or PAN India.
What is the service charge for the vehicle cover emergency call?
No service charge. But you have to pay for the spare parts / consumables that may be required to get your vehicle mobilized.
Do I need vehicle cover for a new and reliable vehicle?
The vehicle cover is a must for every road users, because this cover provides you the assistance in the event of any minor and major mishaps that can happen anytime to anyone without invitation.
How quick is the vehicle cover service?
We take immediate action to reach you as early as possible on hearing a call from you, actual time may vary depending on location of the vehicle and traffic jams. In most cases within the city, we can reach you in maximum 45-60 50 minutes and on highways within 90 minutes. However, when you call for roadside assistance service, a service representative will be able to give you an accurate estimated time of arrival.
Do I need to provide the location details or can I send the location detail through whatsapp?
You can provide us the breakdown location through your smart phone by taking the screen shot of the current location through google GPS app and send it across us to reach you at the earliest. You have to describe your location and vehicle, knowing which road you are on and the nearest cross street as well as telling us the make, model and colour of your vehicle will be helpful.
What all the vehicles covered under the membership for availing assistance ?
We provide roadside assistance cover for only cars for personal use up to 10 years of the vehicle's age.
Do I avail the vehicle cover for a vehicle of more than 10 years old?
Yes, vehicles more than 10 years old are also eligible for roadside assistance but under different cover plan.
How many free call out can I make to avail the service?
2 Call out in a year are free for standard plan and for Premium Plan, there is no limit on service call outs.

Can I purchase the membership online.?

How long you will take to deliver my ERC card after the payment is being made online or offline?
The membership card will be processed and delivered with in 7 working days after the receipt of the payment.
When the card will be activated to use it for service call out?
You can start using your card with in 48 hours of the receipt of the card which is for a period of one year membership.
Can I renew my membership card?
Yes. You can renew your membership card after the expiry of the membership by online or offline.
